This is the first year that the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult has been required to publish a Gender Pay Gap Report, as in previous years none of its legal entities exceed the threshold of 250 employees on the Snapshot Date.
On the Snapshot Date of 5th April, 2021 Cell Therapy Catapult Limited had 251 employees with the following gender pay and distribution.

I confirm that the gender pay gap calculations are accurate and meet the requirements of the regulations.

1The mean pay gap is calculated by adding up the hourly pay (or bonus pay) of all the women in the business and
dividing by the number of women. We then perform the same calculation for men and calculate the difference.
3The median pay gap is calculated by finding the exact middle point between the lowest and highest paid man in the
business and the lowest and highest paid woman
3Determined using hourly pay, employee earnings are placed in descending order and then split into four equal
groups, within each of these groups the proportion of females and males is then determined.
