The British Society for Gene and Cell Therapy Annual Conference and UK Regenerative Medicine Platform Joint Meeting will be held at the Royal Welsh Academy of Music and Drama, Cardiff, on 19 - 21 April 2017.
The conference programme is centred around “hot topics” in gene and cell therapy, as well as regenerative medicine with talks delivered by leading national and international experts in the field. Specific aims of the meeting include (a) to provide a forum for discussion, (b) to foster collaborations and (c) to identify common hurdles that slow the development of these advanced therapeutic medicinal product. We are confident that the programme will be of broad appeal to scientists, clinicians, students and members of the public with an interest in the field.
Chief Clinical Officer, Dr Jacqueline Barry, will be discussing regulatory issues related to gene and cell therapy at the event. Friday 21, 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM in the Concert Hall.
