Life Sciences Industrial Strategy launched
It has been a busy week for the sector with the Life Sciences Industrial Strategy announced yesterday at the University of Birmingham’s Institute of Translational Medicine. Projects supported by the strategy include a £30 million investment in Advanced Therapies Treatment Centres to transform the UK's ability to develop and deliver cell and gene therapies to a large number of patients and the expansion of the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult manufacturing centre, which will be receiving £12m to double it's existing capacity.
