ATTC network education day: CAR T clinical trials in autoimmune diseases

This education day has been organised to focus on CAR T clinical trials within the field of autoimmune conditions.

It aims to bring together a range of expert speakers from across Scotland and the UK, each with significant expertise in advanced therapy clinical trials.

This event is hosted by the Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre (ATTC) network and the Scottish Steering Group for Advanced Therapy clinical trials. The ATTC network, coordinated by the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, addresses the unique and complex challenges of bringing pioneering advanced therapy medicinal products (ATMPs) to patients. Learn more about the ATTC network here.

This event aims to:

  • Raise awareness of autoimmune CAR-T clinical trial activity in Scotland.
  • Encourage recruitment to autoimmune CAR-T clinical trials and thereby improve equity access for patients throughout Scotland.
  • Support clinicians and researchers to become involved in autoimmune CAR T clinical trials.
  • Foster greater awareness and patient participation in clinical trials.

The day will be made up of individual speakers and panel sessions. Attendees should expect to learn about current and future activity in Scotland for CAR T clinical trials in autoimmune conditions.

Who should attend?

This event is relevant for NHS staff and researchers whose clinical work may be impacted by CAR T therapy now or in the future. This includes clinicians, nurses, and professionals involved in Research and Development (R&D) activity.
