We are proud to co-host this this two half-day training course on 'An Introduction for Advanced Therapies Researchers' this September in Edinburgh, Scotland.
This two half-day training course is designed for academic researchers working in gene and cell therapies, to introduce the process of moving research laboratory into clinical testing and validation.
The first half-day will focus on the preclinical pathway and successfully positioning research for clinical outcomes. Topics will include an overview of regulatory pathways, non-clinical considerations, and key aspects of advanced therapies product development and manufacturing.
There will also be an opportunity for an optional GMP-like tour hosted by CGT Catapult and will take approximately 15–20 minutes + short walking time from the venue. As places are limited, note that it may not be possible to allocate a space to everyone.
The second half-day will focus on the clinical landscape, including an introduction to health economics, the importance of early patient and public involvement, and the fundamentals of planning and running clinical trials, their regulatory context and key players.
