We are happy to announce our involvement with this years BioWednesday London: Innovation and Collaboration in UK Life Sciences Beyond Borders on September 13th.
The UK Life Science sector is admired globally for its world class research, innovation and start-up company creation. The heritage of Nobel Prizes and impactful inventions in areas such as antibiotics, gene sequencing, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, telecommunications, engineering and many more evidence an impressive track record. Yet question marks remain over whether the UK has the ability and environment in which to fully commercialise such advances. Such scaling requires depth of competence, infrastructure and investment which may require the UK to present itself as single Life Science Cluster in order to attract all these essential elements.
Through bringing a showcase of Scottish companies to the London shop window, the session will explore the opportunities, challenges and required steps to place national or regional agendas and policies aside to maximise the value creation and collective stakeholder benefit from this highly innovative and entrepreneurial UK ecosystem.
