With the support of the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, ATMP Engage (The Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement Working Group) commissioned Genetic Alliance UK to design and deliver a scoping project to examine potential inequity of access in ATMPs. A literature review was carried out to establish the current understanding of this topic, followed by a roundtable to draw out a broader analysis through consultation with the wider UK ATMP community and the UK health equity community. The recently published report brings together the findings of these activities, including recommendations for future work.
