Equipment access
Our STL features dedicated areas for the upstream processing, downstream processing, GMP training, analytical and quality control requirements of the advanced therapies and wider biomanufacturing industry. All areas are equipped with industry leading technologies.
In keeping with the CGT Catapult’s philosophy of supporting the awareness and adoption of innovative technologies, through our Equipment Access service we support the local advanced therapy community by granting short-term access to our state-of-the-art facilities. Through this arrangement Equipment Access clients can access specialised laboratory and bioprocess equipment for research projects, analytical development studies, process development studies and equipment evaluations.

How and where are courses delivered?
All of our courses are delivered on site at our Skills and Training Laboratories in Stevenage.
How long are training courses?
All of our courses take place either over 1 or 2 days.
What does the cost include?
All prices are per person & exclude VAT. Prices includes provision of lunch and covers the cost of providing equipment, gowns and consumables.
Can I book myself onto the courses independently?
All courses require a minimum of 4 learners however if you as an individual wishes to book onto any of our courses, please contact us to express your interest and we will let you know when there is sufficient interest to run the course.
Can the courses be customised to my needs?
All of our courses can be customised to suit the needs of the learners and if you contact our team on skillstraininglabs@ct.catapult.org.uk , we will be happy to discuss how to best modify the course for you and your needs.
What kind of discounts do you offer?
We offer discounts for existing collaborators, NHS employees and UK academic institutions. Concessions are available for life sciences learner hub subscriptions (subject to conditions).
